Using CyberCash and
AbleCommerce Builder
Why choose CyberCash over other
real-time payment methods?
- It is inexpensive to
implement, costing hundreds if not thousands less than
other systems.
- Two CFX_CyberCash Tags are
already available, making it easy to integrate with Cold
Fusion, a flexible system for creating commerce systems.
- No additional phone lines or
hardware required.
- All transactions are
encrypted and sent over the Internet for authorization.
- Proven solution - CyberCash
has been used on the Internet for some time now.
Installation of PERL 5.0 becomes
part of the CyberCash Cash Register installation process if it's
not already on your server. Once PERL is installed, the Cash
Register installs with minimum fuss prompting you through the
installation options. Two or three NT services are installed
depending on if you are using the Credit Payment Server and/or
the Coin Payment Server, along with the required Admin Server. AbleCommerce
Builder does not use the coin payment server.
The administration and merchant
duties surrounding the use of CyberCash are well documented in
the GettingStarted-NT.PDF (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader) that is included with CyberCash's
Register software and are outside the scope of this document.
